Fiocruz hosted the 4th Science Centre World Congress
The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation − Fiocruz − and the Museum of Life hosted the 4th Science Centre World Congress (4SCWC) on April 10 through 14, 2005, in Rio de Janeiro. Social inclusion and equity were the main themes discussed at the event which gathered 1144 participants from around 50 countries, the largest number since its first eddition.

Well known for his engagement in science popularization actions, the Indian is the director of the respectful institution Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, responsable for the continuing growth of astronomy and astrophysics nucleus at universities in India.
